from 1 Thessalonians 5: 14-18
"Live in peace with each other. And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle. encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing; in all circumstances give thanks."
The world finds no peace because so many have lost patience with any one who disagrees with them; because so many find no kindness in their hearts, and because we live in a world obsessed with paying back wrong for wrong. How then shall we live? By turning our backs on the negativity the world is constantly offering. Take no part. See another world. See with spiritual eyes, not worldly eyes. With spiritual eyes see with wonder and awe our beautiful world. See each person with love and kindness. See with forgiveness in our hearts. Make the positive things of life, the total focus of life.
To live in peace with one another, ignore the negative and be helpful. Simple. Concise. Obvious.
