Seemingly we as a world have forgotten how to forgive. How else to explain things as they appear to be in the world today?
Forgiveness holds within it the power to be the most magnificent triumph of human life On earth!
Lack of forgiveness, the tenacious attachment to the ego need to be right and to control, is the cul-de-sac of human history. A road of no return.
Which will it be? The path to a world that lives forgiveness is the path of letting go. Letting go of resentments (no matter how seemingly justified they are), letting go of fear, letting go of the cherishing opinions, of the need to control. It is letting go of the need to make others feel guilty simply because they believe differently than we do; It is letting go of "my way or the highway." It is letting go of rigid dogma.
Living forgiveness allows for a better way forward, a higher way, a way that lack of forgiveness blinds us to. Forgiveness opens us to trust, to living without fear - and mostly it opens us to the ability to see each other as we are. It opens us to love.
So which shall it be? Why is it so difficult for our world to choose magnificent triumph over a road of no return?
FORGIVENESS IS TRANSFORMATIVE
