On this beautiful spring morning I AM in my yard hand watering new grass seed. Even though our home has a sprinkler system, I feel that watering with a hose by hand opens me to the awareness of an essential connection among the grass, the soil, the water and me. It opens me to an awareness of oneness as I participate in the process of life. It opens me to the fact that God is the grass, the soil, the water and me. The soil is essential for the grass, the water is essential for the grass, and in fact I am essential for the grass as the one who provides the necessary water for it to thrive when there is no rain.
The neighborhood is quiet and still now; everyone has gone to work. It is a warm sunny morning. The sky is clear and blue with only a few clouds. I become aware of the beauty in the sunlight coming through the wide spray of water from the hose. I become aware of the droplets of water shining on the leaves of the shrubs. In this still and perfect moment I AM at peace and one with all that is. Life in the moment is the essense of life.
As I continue to water, to be the source of this life giving substance to the plants in the yard, I become aware of the infinite complelxity in each plant. I become aware of The roses, of the hibiscus, of the blue plumbago and the bougainvillea. Each has its infinite uniqueness as an expression of God. I become aware of the infinite complexity of all that is. I open to the awareness of the infinite complexity of all things, including me. This awareness of the infinite complexity of all things is a key spiritual understanding. All things are an infinite expression of an infinite Creator and sustainer. God is all things. In this perfect morning, an expression of and a beautiful gift from the Divne, I open to the wonder of it all. To the wonder in each moment.
I do not live in the universe. I live in the Wonderment.
BEHOLD THE LIGHT IN EVERYONE!
(I BEHOLD THE DIVINE PRESENCE AS YOU)
